Public transport
We take an active interest in the application of competition law and regulatory mechanisms to the public transport industries, particularly in the UK.
Our skills and knowledge enable us to address a wide range of issues:
- Price controls and charging structures for access to infrastructure, for example in rail.
- Competition law enforcement and economics advice on merger control.
- State aid law and the calculation of compensation for public service obligations.
We have experience in relation to rail, taxis, and rail/bus competition.
We maintain a rolling review of public transport news and developments relevant to our work.
