Modification Proposal P215
Revised Credit Cover Methodology for Generating BM Units (Approved)
Current Status
P215 was raised by Uskmouth Power Limited on 27 July 2007. An Initial Written Assessment was presented to the BSC Panel on 9 August 2007, and a Definition Report on 13 September 2007. The P215 Assessment Report was originally presented to the BSC Panel on 13 December 2007 but the BSC Panel extended the P215 Assessment Procedure by two months. An updated Assessment Report was presented to the BSC Panel on 14 February 2008.
The Draft Modification Report was presented to the BSC Panel on 13 March 2008 and the final Modification Report was then submitted to the Authority for decision.
P215 seeks to modify the BSC such that Final Physical Notifications (FPN) are used in the calculation of Credit Assessment Energy Indebtedness (CEI) for ‘generating BM Units’, instead of Credit Assessment Load Factors (CALF) and Generation Capacity (GC), in order to improve the accuracy of the Credit Cover arrangements for ‘generating BM Units’. The definition of ‘generating BM Units’ was explored in the P215 Definition Procedure.
Proposer: Rebecca Williams (Uskmouth Power Limited)
