LONDON (AFX) - At The Races and the British Horse Racing Board (BHB) said they have agreed to settle their dispute over whether the board used its dominant market position to charge At The Races too much for pre-race data, which bookmakers use to take bets on horse races. The announcement follows the successful appeal by the BHB against a 2005 High Court decision which ruled in At The Races' favour. At The Races is a joint venture between BSkyB PLC, Arena Leisure PLC, Ascot Racecourse, Northern Racing and several other racecourse partners. In a joint statement At The Races said it will not be seeking leave to appeal to the House of Lords and the BHB said it will continue to allow At The Races access to and use of its authorised pre-race data. No further details of the settlement were announced. newsdesk@afxnews.com abr COPYRIGHT Copyright AFX News Limited 2007. All rights reserved.
